Shape a new future of electric driving and charging

Our client manufactures and commercializes charging solutions for electric vehicles (EVs) in the most demanding conditions. This global operating Scandinavian charging company recently went public and is listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange Finland. Important values of the company are teamwork, integrity, respect and courage.

The charging solutions including controllers/power modules are fully designed and manufactured inhouse. This ensures the shortest delivery times in the industry! 

This leading EV Charging manufacturer is already active on Belgium soil. Due to the growing demand in the region, the company decided to open-up a new sales office in Belgium. 

 

Key objectives for this role

  • Open-up the BE market, generate sales via already existing and new accounts like Charge Point Operators (CPO’s), commercial fleet operators, Automotive (Light & Heavy Commercial Vehicles), Delivery and Transport Companies, Ports, Airports and other large sites
  • Develop the Sales Partner channel. You are responsible for selecting and acquiring new partners (Channel sales partners) like installers and service providers to further develop the business across Belgium
  • Spread the word. Decide and implement local marketing activities in collaboration with the company’s team in headquarters to maximize their brand and product awareness in the region

 

Related activities to make this happen

  • Analyse the needs of existing customers, bring innovative proposals and make them into tangible solutions 
  • Define route to market for the BE market based on customer profiles/needs, evaluate new business opportunities, build new relationships and acquire new customers
  • Follow-up of the sales opportunities on daily basis via f2f meetings, phone and E-mail on a regular basis
  • Report on the sales activities and results timely through CRM system (Sales Force)  
  • Find and collaborate with installation and service companies to support the sales and operations
  • Participation in exhibitions and seminars
  • You work in close collaboration with colleagues in the Amsterdam office and headquarter in Finland in order to fulfil customer expectations technically and commercially in a timely manner
  • Based on the local EV developments you continuously adapt propositions to the local needs 

 

Your background and skillset

  • Capability to create something out of nothing. You have a proven track-record in building a new business in a new market
  • Hence, you have the seniority / entrepreneurial drive to open-up a new market and autonomy to lead complex sales projects 
  • Bachelor and/or master degree in engineering or business administration / related economical field
  • You are a solution seller with a minimum 5 years of working experience in technical sales in the Belgium B2B market
  • At least 3 years of commercial working experience in the Belgium EV Charging Industry
  • A strong network of Charge Point Operators (CPO’s), commercial fleet operators, Automotive (Light & Heavy Commercial Vehicles), Delivery and Transport Companies, Ports, Airports and other large sites
  • Self-starter character who enjoys working in a growing, fast-paced and disruptive environment
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working in an international, fast-growing and multi-disciplinary environment
  • Bilingual in French & Dutch and a professional command of the English language
