Adapting aftersales strategies for the EV revolution

Sales of zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles have more than doubled in 2023, with a total of 11,000 new units sold across the EU-27, according to a report published by the International Council on Clean Transportation. With Chinese manufacturers expected to produce half of all BEVs sold globally by 2026, established OEMs face not only a contraction in serviceable vehicles but also intensified competition from new entrants.
