Refuelling technology will most likely evolve. Slower chargers will predominate in the early years, with a gradual shift toward a greater proportion of fast chargers of 500 megawatts (MW) or more.
Aside from operational advantages, higher-power chargers can result in cheaper per-unit expenses if used properly. Furthermore, the change to higher-power chargers will also help to cut charging times.
