This one-of-a-kind EV Charging SaaS company is founded in 2019 and backed by Porsche Ventures and Helen Ventures. At present, the company is active in more than 15 European markets. Our client built a crowd-sourcing community of EV Drivers helping Charge Point Operators (CPO’s) with tools and processes to improve their infrastructure’s reliability and customer experience.
The company offers a SaaS platform that optimizes CPO operations, boosts charging sessions, brand differentiation by using customer feedback, provides market intelligence, monitors the charger status and coordinates maintenance.
Making use of a valuable network of EV Drivers to provide feedback on the CPO network
This SaaS Company facilitates a platform for EV drivers to share their experiences and provide suggestions to various CPO’s throughout Europe. As a result, our client created the first sustainable loyalty platform for electromobility. Through the app, the company incentivizes EV drivers by rewarding them with “kilometers”. These kilometers can then be utilized for free public charging or exchanged for vouchers at numerous shops.

At present, this innovative SaaS solution provider is incentivizing its sales efforts, growing from a start-up into scale-up phase. Therefore, the company is hiring a European Sales Manager to activate and manage existing accounts, acquire new contracts and further expand its services into new territories.
In this role you report directly to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO).
Key objectives for this role
- Take care of existing accounts and acquire new partners, build strong relationships with the existing and new customers, manage the full sales cycle and activate and optimize the account with the help of the customer success management team
- Analyse the European market, develop and execute the strategy together with the CSO to open new markets across Europe
- Be the recognized EV expert in the market. Take part in relevant exhibitions and conferences all over Europe and use your authority to further promote the solution
Related activities to make this happen
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and outcomes using the CRM system
- Identify potential business opportunities, establish valuable connections, and acquire new partners
- Engage proactively with sales prospects through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and emails
- Actively participate in relevant industry exhibitions and seminars
- Analyse the European market and further determine the go-to-market strategy together with the CSO
- Continuously adapt the company’s offerings to meet the evolving needs of the local market, considering the dynamic Electric Vehicle (EV) landscape
Your background and skillset
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial experience EV Charging Industry selling SaaS solutions, at least 4 years of commercial working experience
- Well-known in the e-Mobility community, you have an extensive network within the European EV ecosystem
- Capable to lead and complete complex sales processes
- A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in business administration, or related
- Exhibit self-motivation and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving, and disruptive environment
- Possess strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time
- Prioritize the establishment of long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Experience of working in an international, fast-growing, and cross-functional setting
- Native in German, professional command of the English language and understanding of the third language is plus
