About the role

Commercialize charging technology activities across Europe. Lead the growth of the P&L and create long-term growth and revenue plans. Develop and manage your sales team

Given the company’s huge opportunity in e-Mobility, its technology advantage, and its already huge spread with thousands of customer retail sites across Europe, it decided to speed up its activities. As a result, the company took the initiative to hire an ambitious commercial leader to develop and expand its charging solutions across Europe and later worldwide.

Key objectives for this role

  • Lead the growth of the P&L and plan your key business milestones in close collaboration with the BU Director of e-Mobility Solutions. Set the pace for sustainable commercial growth of the current and future charging activities by developing tangible Go2Markets strategies per regional European key market (DACH, Benelux, UK, France).
  • Develop the European market by reaching out and partner with CPO’s, CPMS’s, Parking Operators, Retailers, Real Estate companies, Fleet Operators, etc. Identification of new sales potentials, new markets, and business areas. You manage the entire sales process (initiation offer, the conclusion of the contract), including the coordination of tenders and the support of rollout projects. You ensure the projects are carried out according to plan within time and budget.
  • Grow and manage your sales team, Lead, train and develop the talents and capabilities of your sales force to maximise their personal and team impact.

Related activities to make this happen

  • Continuous observation and analysis of market, competitive and technological developments, including the identification of trends and stimulate future applications for a sustainable revenue
  • Accordingly, development of new EV Charging solutions and related services in corporation with current partners and (new) customers like Energy retailers, CPO’s, Parking Operators, technology service providers and Retail companies
  • Steering of customer campaigns, direct and indirect sales and online marketing activities
  • You are the face & voice regarding EV Charging market activities, representation to interested parties and customers at trade fairs, congresses, and conferences
  • You work in close corporation with the other BU’s to sell the EV Charging Solutions, where applicable, together with the Parking and Fare Collection Division across Europe and later on worldwide
  • Accordingly, you have a holistic approach, derivation of corresponding market and product strategies within the SIQMA product portfolio

About your background and skillset

  • To ensure a head-start, the candidate must be commercially experienced (preferably 2 years or more) in the European EV Charging Ecosystem. You have a background in eMSP and/or CPO and/or AC/DC charging manufacturer
  • Understanding and experience in developing and selling EV Charging products and services
  • A strong and active network with leading CPOs and/or Energy & Utilities and/or Retail companies/Supermarkets, and parking operators (preferably across Europe). Active network with Automotive and/or Fleet operators is considered a big plus
  • You are a self-driven leader with a passion for business growth in technology sales.
  • Experience leading a commercial team (preferably at least 2 years) is considered a big plus
  • You have a solid commercial track record in building (new) business using your profound professional network connections.
  • Business development leadership experience; determine product–market fit followed by the go-2-market per region, strong focus on acquiring contracts, structure your sales processes and commercial organization
  • Confident and decisive appearance in combination with strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • You have a positive mindset, are persuasive towards different target groups and act empathetically and solution-oriented with the necessary assertiveness
  • Experience working in a complex international environment. Strong in managing different types of internal and external stakeholders cross-functional across several regions and cultures
  • Interest in innovative technologies, as well as versatile in sufficient communication capabilities in this sector
